Thank you for shopping with us! We appreciate your business and want to ensure you have a smooth shopping experience. Once you place your order, our dedicated team works diligently to process and ship all orders within 1 to 3 business days.
For your convenience, we offer standard shipping on most items, which usually takes between 3 to 5 business days for delivery. If you’re in need of your items sooner, we also provide expedited shipping options at checkout, allowing you to receive your order more quickly.
Please keep in mind that delivery times may vary based on your location and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during shipping process. Please also note that we are unable to ship most of our large furniture items. These items will be specified in the product description and will only be available for PICKUP or DELIVERY. Returns
We value your satisfaction and want to ensure that you have a positive shopping experience with us. Please read our return policy below to see if your items qualifies for a return. For further assistance with the return process, we kindly ask you to reach out to our customer service team (support@dfwdorms.com) who will more than happy to help you with your return.
Unfortunately, Custom items and furniture pieces are not eligible for a return unless damaged in transit. This must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and pictures must be submitted. Non custom items can be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund less original shipping and processing fees. Please return all items in their original packaging. Items returned without a valid RA# will not be processed. After 14 days, we will give store credit for any new, unused and unwashed items in the original packaging.
Return Authorization (RA) Process
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
• The item(s) must be purchased from DFW Dorms within the last 30 days.
• The item(s) must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging, unless defective.
• The item(s) must not be on the list of non-returnable items
If you meet these requirements, please click the button at the bottom of this page to complete a Return Authorization Form. Please return your items in the original packaging and box.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
• Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items (furniture, custom bedding, custom head boards, custom pillows)
• Gift cards, downloadable software, or digital products.
• Opened or used items where the seal has been broken (unless defective).
• Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase.
3. To initiate a return, the customer must:

Request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) by submitting a Return Authorization Form (Use button below)

Provide proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt, when requesting the RA#.

Include a explanation of the reason for the return, along with any supporting documentation (e.g., photographs for defective or damaged products).
If approved, an RA# will be issued within 3 business days upon review of the return request. The RA# must be clearly marked on the return package. Returns without an RA# will not be processed. If your request is denied, we will send you an email with an explanation.
4. Return Shipping
• Return by Mail: Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning items, unless the return is due to a mistake made by DFW Dorms (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect items). The return address will be provided when we send you the RA#.
• Return Label: If the return is due to an error on our part (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
• In-Person Returns: If local and applicable, customers can return items directly to our location. The RA# must still be presented to process the return.
Returned items must be shipped back to DFW Dorms within 7 days after receiving the RA#.
5. Refunds and Store Credit
• Refunds: Once the returned item(s) are received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days (less original shipping and processing fees).
• Store Credit: If you are returning your item 14-30 days after receipt, then you will receive store credit. You will be issued a gift card to use in future purchases.
• Refund denial: In cases where the item is not returned in its original condition (damaged or missing parts), a refund may be denied.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 48 hours from the date of receipt. We will provide a refund, exchange, or replacement for defective items as per your preference.
• Please provide photographs of the damaged or defective item(s) with your return request to facilitate faster processing.
• If a return label is issued for a defective item, the return shipping cost will be covered by DFW Dorms.
7. Restocking Fees
• A restocking fee of up to 15% of item price may apply to certain returns that are approved for special circumstances outside of our 30 day return window.
• Restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
8. Processing Time
Once we receive the returned item(s), please allow up to 7 business days for processing and issuing a refund, or store credit. Notification will be sent via email once the return has been processed.
9. Customer Responsibility
• Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are properly packaged and shipped to avoid damage during transit.
• We do not offer refunds or store credits on items that are damaged in transit, so please package your item accordingly. It is recommended that customers use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance for returns of high-value items, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returns without tracking information. Only items received in our warehouse will be credited for a refund or store credit. DFW Dorms does not offer price adjustments on items previously purchased.
